Court Report

Mike Johnson has a warning:

Big EU

Europe turns into Big Brother:
In the EU and UK there has been a slow burn on censorship the past ten years which has recently exploded into a California Palisades level inferno of speech restrictions. Door to door enforcement has increased as the public speaks out against multicultural policies. The excuse is always the same – Native Europeans are not allowed to criticize third world integration because it “might hurt people’s feelings”. Any opposition to mass immigration is labeled “hate speech”. Movements for national identity and border security are regularly attacked in the media. In France and Germany globalist officials are attempting to make it impossible for conservative leaning political parties to participate in elections. In Romania they have succeeded in disrupting the normal voting process, arresting populist candidate Calin Georgescu after he won the first round of presidential elections. EU controlled authorities have ruled that he will not be allowed to run again. And for those that think he was blocked due to Russian interference, well, they just blocked the candidacy of another conservative simply because she criticized the EU. Romania is also tightening rules for online speech in an effort to silence public dissent. In true dystopian fashion, the powers-that-be call this “protecting democracy”.

Non-Public Broadcasting

No more money for them:
“It’s been very biased,” Trump said of NPR and PBS. “They spend more money than any other network of its type ever conceived,” the president continued. “So the kind of money that’s being wasted, and it’s a very biased view. You know that better than anybody. I’d be honored to see it end.” Trump pointed to all the media outlets in the room, and said: “We are well covered. Look at all the people that we have here today. We are well covered. We don’t need it. It’s a waste of money.”

Chat Crunch

British chat rooms are closing:
The Act—which was celebrated as the world-first online safety law—was designed to ensure that tech companies take more responsibility for the safety of their users. For example, social media platforms, including user-to-user service providers, have the duty to proactively police harmful illegal content such as revenge and extreme pornography, sex trafficking, harassment, coercive or controlling behavior, and cyberstalking. But what the government calls “small but risky services” which are often forums, have to submit illegal harms risk assessments to the Online Safety Act’s regulator, Ofcom, by March 31. Ofcom first published its illegal harm codes of practice and guidance in December 2024 and had given providers three months to carry out the assignment. It was given powers under the law and warned that those who fail to do so may face enforcement action. “We have strong enforcement powers at our disposal, including being able to issue fines of up to 10 percent of turnover or £18 million ($23 million)—whichever is greater—or to apply to a court to block a site in the UK in the most serious cases,” said Ofcom. Some of the rules for owners of these sites—which are often operated by individuals —include keeping written records of their risk assessments, detailing levels of risk, and assessing the “nature and severity of potential harm to individuals.”

Cleanup Crew

The cleanup of Social Security continues:
"For the past 3 weeks, Social Security has been executing a major cleanup of their records. Approximately 7 million numberholders, all listed age 120+, have now been marked as deceased. Another ~5 million to go," DOGE announced on social media. The effort comes after billionaire Elon Musk, the face of DOGE, highlighted the huge number of Social Security numbers assigned to Americans with unlikely or impossible ages. "The logic flow diagram for the Social Security system looks INSANE. No one person actually knows how it works. The payment files that move between Social Security and Treasury have significant inconsistencies that are not reconciled. It’s wild," Musk declared in February. "There are FAR more ‘eligible’ social security numbers than there are citizens in the USA. This might be the biggest fraud in history," he added.
