Now Biden supports tarrifs:

ABC News writes that these tariffs will be put on $18 billion worth of imports and they suggested this is just an ‘election year’ move by Biden to make himself look tougher on China than Trump: The election-year actions come as Biden looks to project himself as tougher on China than his predecessor, and expected 2024 rival, former President Donald Trump. Trump imposed some $300 billion in tariffs on Chinese goods during his administration, many of which are expected to remain in place. But it wasn’t that long ago that Biden opposed Trump’s tariffs on China, claiming that the only people paying for them are the American people. That was just a lie told by Biden at the time to try and win an election. Now instead of opposing them, he’s doing the exact opposite and competing with Trump’s tariffs to try and win in November.
