Parents Begone

No more parents in Massachussetts:
The ethical implications of this bill are vast. Allowing the sale of parental rights, even under the guise of legal contracts and surrogacy arrangements, raises serious moral questions. Is it ethical to place a monetary value on the bond between a mother and her child? Can a contract truly encompass the emotional and psychological complexities of parenthood? Furthermore, by removing the terms "mother" and "father" from birth certificates, the bill disregards the importance of biological connections and the traditional family structure and weakens the societal fabric that relies on the stable and clear roles of mothers and fathers in raising children.
