Why woke TV shows fail:

These woke shows don't fail because these guys create campaigns that stop people from watching them. They fail because these shows and movies are just garbage, with concepts and messages that appeal to a very narrow and niche fan base. Perhaps messaging based in leftist values is cool with a select group of people who like to "see themselves represented" in mainstream franchises, but in the end, it just amounts to bad fan fiction. You often have to break the logic of that franchise's universe to do it. That's exactly what "The Acolyte" did, and that's just one reason so many people hated it. It disrespected its own setting. It's not hate campaigns killing these shows; it's just simple economics. It's supply and demand. It's market forces in action.

Sometimes bad TV is just bad TV...
