A Democrat calls out his party over pandering:

“The Democrats have to stop pandering to the far left,” Suozzi told the New York Times. “I don’t want to discriminate against anybody, but I don’t think biological boys should be playing in girls’ sports. “Democrats aren’t saying that, and they should be,” the former County Executive of Nassau County. Nassau County, of which large swathes of Suozzi’s third Congressional district lie, enacted laws barring transitioned biological boys from participating in girls’ sports through an executive order. The New York State Attorney General Letitia James has sued Nassau County over the Transgender Athlete Ban. The Long Island Roller Rebels also sued Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman for allegedly violating New York civil rights laws. The former Mayor of Glen Cove also pointed out that American voters were more afraid of “the Left” than they feared Trump’s actions. Censorship and the Cancel Culture have most Americans, including Democratic Party members, walking on eggshells to avoid being branded bigots. Suozzi also believes the Democratic Party failed to respond adequately to other issues of serious concern to ordinary Americans.
