Cleaning House

The Trump purge continues:
Entire squads of FBI agents were removed from the New York, Miami, and Washington, D.C., field offices following Trump’s appointment of Driscoll to lead the agency. Meanwhile, as Trump’s pick for FBI Director, Kash Patel, undergoes the confirmation process, questions remain about whether Driscoll will stay in his position until Patel is confirmed. Acting Deputy Attorney General Emil Bove ordered Driscoll to compile a list of all FBI agents who had been involved “at any time” in the January 6 investigations to determine whether further personnel actions were necessary. A memo to Driscoll stated: “These lists should include relevant supervisory personnel in FBI regional offices and field divisions, as well as at FBI Headquarters.” Driscoll responded by admitting that he himself had been involved in the investigation into Trump. However, when a subsequent request was made for a broader list, including details of each employee’s involvement, Driscoll refused to comply. The list of names reportedly includes thousands of FBI agents. “You have a lot of people who thought, ‘Oh, I’ll just do a couple of misdemeanor arrests. No big deal.’ But they did them, and now those people fully expect to be gone,” one FBI source told The Washington Times. “And other people who worked on these cases may be gone too, no matter how much work they’ve done.”
They're done and done...
