Black male voters in swing states said on NBC News Thursday that they stand by their decision to support President Donald Trump. “Meet The Press” interviewed Black men in swing states who cast their votes for Trump in the 2024 election. Despite saying they had some reservations about Trump’s methods as president, most reaffirmed their support for him. “I approve because he’s weeding out a lot of things that the other, I would say Biden and Kamala Harris, disrupted in the United States. It’s going to be a tough job for him in the Trump administration as a whole, but I’m just willing to wait and see what goes forth from now,” Marlon M., a 47-year-old Democrat from Pennsylvania, said. Thomas A., a 49-year-old Democrat from Georgia who voted for Biden in 2020 and switched to Trump in 2024, said he does not fully agree with one of Trump’s methods but still supports him.
