Collins’ role had reportedly been linked to attempts to dismiss Hunter Biden’s laptop as Russian disinformation, a narrative that has since been widely disputed. Langan-Riekhof, meanwhile, was known as a vocal proponent of DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) and strongly anti-Trump, according to sources. In a bold strategic maneuver, Gabbard also plans to relocate the NIC offices from the CIA to the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI), centralizing authority and reducing overlap with the CIA. Whistleblowers claim the broader plan is to remove more “deep state leakers” embedded within the ODNI. Gabbard has been vocal in her criticism of intelligence community leaks. In an earlier interview with Fox, she warned: “Politicization of our intelligence and leaking classified information puts our nation’s security at risk and must end.” She added: “Those who leak classified information will be found and held accountable to the fullest extent of the law.”
