The data suggests a sharply divided electorate, with few signs of voter movement since the 2024 election. Economic issues remain a point of concern. A plurality of respondents—49%—say Trump’s economic policies are making things worse, while 29% say they are improving conditions. Only 37% approve of Trump’s handling of the economy, with 49% disapproval. The public is also split on the overall performance of Trump’s second term. Fifty-two percent characterize it as “more of a failure,” while 48% say it is a success. Party identification continues to shape those views: 86% of Republicans describe the term as a success, compared to 88% of Democrats who call it a failure.
