Why SNAP shouldn't be for everyone:

You didn’t listen to what she said, or you are deliberately misstating what she said. She is not working 3 jobs at a time, she said she did that 21 years ago when her first child was born. She is currently working one job for the school district and using SNAP for food. SNAP is allowing her to feel comfortable working a job that does not pay enough to cover her monthly expenses. I understand that she values this added free time in her life for her family, but she is expecting that other parents will work more so they can pay more taxes to feed herself and her children. SNAP should be a temporary helping hand to provide nutrition for a family while a parent gets into a better employment position. It is not lifelong supplemental income.
