The consensus that isn't real:

“Ninety-seven percent of scientists agree man-made climate change is a crisis.” How many times have you heard a variation on that? It’s bogus, of course — an invented statistic, just as the “climate crisis” is an invented catastrophe. Whenever media or politicians make comprehensive and ambitious claims like “9–% of all…” you need to take it with a grain of salt. It’s logistically difficult to obtain that data accurately, but leftists never let accuracy or reality bother them, so they conduct rigged polls or simply invent statistics and repeat them with extreme confidence and condescension. Leftists always scream down inconvenient facts without bothering to present facts on their side. And The Heartland Institute has real data to undermine the “97% of scientists agree on climate change” claim.

Never let facts get in the way of "consensus..."
